Position Summary:
The Department of Family and Community Medicine seeks a Program Manager I to join its medical education team. This position will support educational objectives related to medical student clinical training, and the engagement, recruitment, and retention of community family medicine preceptors. This position requires strong time management, interpersonal, and communication skills. Candidate must be willing to travel to community clinics and HSOM regional campuses

Responsibilities In collaboration with CU2RE leadership and the medical education team, this role is responsible for Voluntary/Preceptor Faculty Recruitment and management of FCM clinical preceptors who play a vital role in shaping the education and training of medical students across each phase of the curriculum. In collaboration with CU2RE leadership, identify specific preceptor needs and recruit clinical preceptors for family medicine. Coordinate recruitment efforts with relevant programs to ensure alignment with curriculum requirements.
In collaboration with CU2RE/FCM administrators, assist with the initiation, tracking, and completion of faculty appointments for clinical preceptors. In collaboration with the CU2RE leadership team, facilitate connections to ongoing support and resources for preceptors to enhance their teaching and mentoring skills Foster positive relationships with clinical site administrators, preceptors, and staff. Serve as a liaison between the department and affiliated institutions to address any issues or concerns Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions to expand the pool of potential preceptors
Data Management and Reporting - a collaboration with the medical education program administrators, program coordinators, and leadership, maintain accurate records of preceptor credentials, affiliations, and agreements Generate reports on preceptor recruitment, retention, and performance Collaborate with CU2RE leadership to assess and improve the effectiveness of preceptorship programs Conduct visits to preceptor clinical sites across HSOM regional campuses
Salary Range: $41,175 - $66,915
Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
